For his PhD thesis in 1985, René Galzin set up a biannual long term census of the radiale of Tiahura that comprise:

• a Benthos sampling technique LTT over 22 stations
• and a Fish sampling technique for LTT over 50m² on stations 5, 15 and 20 of the benthic survey.
